The Entry of this gorgeous house is completely surrounded by solid wood raised paneling. An arched solid mahogany ebony stained front door with arched windows brightly contrast the glossy white trim. The floors are laid with white travertine alabastrino inset with black granite. The stairs are wood with travertine and granite risers. The wrought iron railing and moulded wood hand rail are beautiful accents. With 24 candelabras and over five feet of old world metal, the entry chandelier draws your eyes up to the most exquisite feature of all...
The raised panels stretch up 22 feet to a 24 piece crown moulding. An octagon tray in the ceiling is trimmed out with another multiple layer crown moulding including two layers of rope moulding and another layer of baroque trim. The tray is completed with an exquisite baroque dome. The dome and trim were painted and faux finished with a nickel metallic glaze accenting every detail, even from 22 feet below.
This kitchen was designed inch by inch to insure every area achieved premier functionability and purpose. All wood cabinets were built on site with a raised panel doors as well as raised panels on all sides and ends. Complimentary rope moulding was inset into the corners for an additional accent. The white finish with the nickel metallic glaze add an old world touch. Countertops are Technistone, a quartz and granite surface that is 100% non-porous and scratch proof, all with the beauty of granite.
The island was hand built on site as well. One side has a staples bin drawer with glass fronts and two shelves for cook books. Large rope moulding accents either side and the ends are capped with large hand carved corbels.
The reverse side holds a stainless steel microwave and a warming drawer. Finished in ebony stain and accents with a metallic rub and buff, this island is functional and exceptionally beautiful. It is topped with Blue Sodalite granite, a stone that is so rare it is considered semi-precious.
There is plenty of storage in the cabinets and a large amount of detail on the ceiling beams. Antique nickel hardware adds a nice touch.
As we said, no detail was left unfinished. There is a wunderbar soda bar gun on the kitchen sink. Complete with six flavors or your favorite beverages, soda water, and regular water, you will never be thirsty again. Bag in the box soda syrups are located in the garage as well as the CO2 tank and brixing equipment. Just push the button and presto, beverages on tap at home, nice and cold over crushed ice from the ice machine located in the laundry room.
The Master Bedroom is designed with a cool pallet of blues and silvers. The back wall is faux finished in a streaky box glaze. Chandeliers with dimmers hang over the nightstands for evening reading. Shag carpet softens the room for a welcoming feel. The ceiling has a double tray stretching up to 12 ft.
